ONE SPARK START: BERLIN is Europe’s First Live Crowdfunding Festival. It’s a global platform to connect artists, musicians, entrepreneurs and visionaries – known as Creators – with the resources they need to get their projects off the ground.
For one day on September 13th, 50 selected Creators will showcase their projects and pitch their art, innovation, music, science, and technology ideas in front of a live audience. They can earn votes from attendees in order to take home a share of 35,000 € in cash and awards, plus the opportunity to win a free trip to One Spark in the United States, and up to 1,400,000 € in potential capital investments.
Come to this free festival to meet Creators from all over Europe (and the world) and learn about their passions while enjoying great food and entertainment. You can help support the Creators by voting for your favorite projects. You can also support them by contributing directly to the projects you love.
ONE SPARK START: BERLIN will take place September 12-13, 2014 at the PLATOON KUNSTHALLE in Mitte, and includes an opening ceremony on September 12 followed by the crowdfunding festival on September 13.

The event kicks off with a great party! Experience live music from Betty Dittrich and killer hip hop beats from Berlin’s renowned DJ DRush. Come network with your fellow creators, voters, investors, speakers and sponsors. The One Spark team will be on hand to help you register to vote for the crowdfunding festival on Saturday. Tickets are free but you must have an Eventbrite ticket to enter.

Saturday, September 13, 10:00-02:00 – One Spark START: BERLIN Main Event
*Europe’s First Live Crowdfunding Festival*
Experience the latest in Art, Music, Science, Technology and Innovation as One Spark showcases live and in person crowdfunding internationally for the first time. The crowdfunding festival begins with an opening ceremony and continues all day with a Creator showcase, live Creator pitches, inspiring speakers, and of course great food and entertainment. It’s free to attend the event, and no tickets are required.

Since the first two events in Jacksonville, Florida, One Spark has provided access to more than $4.75 million in capital for 1,016 projects, attracted over 390,000 attendees, and captured the attention and imagination of cities around the world.
