Frum is the project of Jenný Augustudóttir Kragesteen, a singer/songwriter who grew up on the Faroe Islands, surrounded by breaking waves and green mountains. The project takes on music, film and bodily expression, deeply impacted by the remote and beautiful surroundings of her youth.
Following on from the debut singles, this new single introduces us to The Only Way. A bouncy, rubbery beat gives way to Frum’s delicate vocals, before the track unfolds into a glorious leftfield pop song that is as anthemic as it is intimate. The beautifully obversed lyrics revolve around Frum’s musings on accepting your own limitations, and learning that you can’t be and do everything.
