2BE CLUB – Currently, 2BE is a mobile location-independent concept, which makes a guest appearance in the Bricks and Avenue Club!

The Bohannon in Mitte offers Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Rap, Disco, Reggae, Soca. The name goes back to Hamilton Frederick Bohannon, one of the leading figures in disco music of the 1970s.

„Funk is dirty“ is the motto once a month at Rosi’s! Deep Funk and Heavy Soul will be danced on the 1st floor. The St. Georg has also started as a Black Music Club, but recently it has been clearly moving towards electronic music. I wonder if that’s because of the proximity to the knight Butzke. The Spindler & Klatt is in the category Club Restaurants and well, it is also more commercial. Every fourth Friday of the month, 49 funky grooves such as Funk, Hip Hop, Soul, Afrobeat and Latin are played in the hangar on Funknatic Friday. Where once the PrivatClub had its home, now there is the Auster Club. American music from the 40s to 60s is on the schedule every Friday and Saturday from 10 pm. It’s the question of how to define black music and it was just black in America of the 40s and 60s.

Clubs that do not have Black or HipHop as their main focus also offer good parties or concerts from time to time. Here you should keep an eye on the Astra Kulturhaus Berlin in Revaler Strasse 99 on the RAW Gelände. „Back to School“, for example, offers the finest German hip hop. Just check the program. The Kreuzberg Club Gretchen, which stands for electronic music, has the German Beatbox Battle, for example. In the Gretchen there are artists who don’t usually appear in Berlin anyway. Drum n bass and bass music have found a home here, not to forget one of Berlin’s fattest Black Music parties: THE BASS MAKES THE BEAT. The Yaam also stands for Blackmusic. Afrofunk, HipHop and other games are played here.

The Swag Jam in the Badehaus Berlin, which is also located on the RAW Gelände, is also very cool. Every Tuesday one of the best Hip Hop Live Bands from Berlin, known from Sido, Marteria & Co, meets national and international guests. First we jam what the Zeg holds and later on there will be an open mic session for all who dare to do anything on stage. The whole thing is rounded off by changing DJs, who invite you to an aftershow party until late in the morning after the live action. Check out the SO36’s program and check out Black Music concerts. The New Yorker Rap legends Capone-N-Noreaga, for example, were already guests there. In Monster Ronson’s Ichiban Karaoke you can also occasionally find HipHop and R&B as well as in the private club, where there is also regular HipHop, Funk, Soul. The Rap battle on wednesday at the Bi Nuu Club is also really cool.
