Adress: Revaler Straße 99, 10245 Berlin
In a converted industrial hall, a club of people has been running since 2005. A cosmopolitan and creative place for music, parties, dancing, urban art and culture is important. The music acts from all over the world appreciate this as much as the Berlin audience, which has been coming to the club on the RAW grounds for years. The music programme is just as varied as our guests – from parties and live acts to major events such as the Berlin Hardcore Festival. The music ranges from regular parties with resident DJs and international top acts from hip-hop, reggae, dancehall, drum’ n’ bass, electro and punk rock to many different live bands from hardcore, metal, punk, rap and hip-hop from all over the world.
The regular party series are legendary, with local acts and international celebrities giving themselves the goings-on. The Kiezclub on the former grounds of the Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk does not only buzz on weekends when the doors are open into the morning. Also during the week, various events attract young and young-at-heart audiences. In the meantime, cassiopeia has become an integral part of Berlin’s neighbourhood and sub-culture landscape. It is particularly important for them not to leave room for right-mindedness or otherwise discriminatory attitudes. At concerts and guitar-heavy events, a large part of the Berlin punk and hardcore scene meets, which appreciate the club’s familiar atmosphere and “living room feeling” just as much as the employees who are very passionate about their work.
If Berlin is seen as an alternative and run down… RAW is the undisputed heart of the city. An illustrious conglomerate of events, on the former Reichsbahn area of the former GDR, consisting of pubs, beer garden, open-air cinema, climbing wall… Here alternative urban life is so cultivated and displayed. The club has its own charm, which surely does not appeal to everyone, but it shouldn’t. And so it lies a little bit away from the Warsaw street with a large open-air area and offers the possibility to retreat outside, to chat, just what you do. The music is not the usual club and discotheque crap, not David Guetta and what they are called. Rock, mash-up, a little bit of hip hop, there’s a lot to see on two floors.
