SCROLL DOWN FOR CLUB LISTINGS

Berlin is blessed with clubs that play electronic music.

The Four on the floor rolls eternally. Despite the high turnover, you get the feeling that the number of micro clubs is growing. This is because of places like Farbfernseher and Backyard. In the District of Wedding there are two Clubs: Brunnen70 and Humboldthain, at Ostkreuz ://about blank and in Kreuzberg, the Chalet and Gretchen Club. Berlin’s club culture is still alive, even if in Prenzlauer Berg alone, there has been an extreme trend of clubs dying out which has just begun. Icon, Knaack, and club of the Republic are gone, the latter being resurrected in the Willner Brauerei. What are left are only Bassy, Dazzle, Duncker and a few more that are not all techno clubs. All these clubs are pure Guitar Places. It is not a cool offer, especially for people who want to hear Electro, Minimal, House or techno, which is quite classic. Berlin Mitte is no longer the hip district, and the voices of the organizers are mounting, that the club culture is slowly dying out there. The dancing party crowd go further in the direction of Kreuzkölln and Ostkreuz. Only Golden Gate and Beate Uwe are left. Of course, the Phono Club should not be forgotten. There is also the open-air location of Else Club, the offshoot of Renate and Griessmühle, which is part of the conglomerate ZMF, Brunnen70. The Crack Bellmer is also in here. If you are wondering why Berghain does not appear in this text … all the clubs have their own pages.

Clubs around Revaler and RAW

The Kit Kat Club, a veteran in the Berlin club scene, which is now home to Sage. Then we would have as the darling of the scene, the Kosmonaut Club, which started simply times and then finally launched in the summer of 2013. The L.U.X. is in terms of the definition of clubs something that is finally away; the abbreviation means “quietest Entertainment Kreuzberg”.   If nothing is going on at Prince Charles, you can go to the Ritter Butzke club or optionally change districts and go to Friedrichshain and visit the Raumklang Club. Club hopping has been the standard for years … nope, for decades, in Berlin’s nightlife. You can work off all the lattes, pizzas and forget about deadlines, budgets, lousy landlords and similar stuff.  A more technoid sound concept awaits you in the Suicide Circus on the RAW Gelände. There are also: Cassiopeia, Crack Bellmer and Badehaus Szimpla. Not far away is Renate, a club scene with cracked down wallpaper, motley seating, and especially people who are excessively celebrating music here. Of course, it is dominated by electro and minimal sounds. Tresor also offers a straight Techno program. Some rain over the audience, but that was never really any different, and should apply to almost every major club.
