Adress: Gerichtstraße 23, Wedding, 13347 Berlin
Facebook: Panke

Since the opening in 2009 Panke was growing and unfolding: expanding circles of friends and collective of creative people make the process – work in progress – never stop. However, its main aim always stays the same: to promote experimental/fringe creativity in Berlin, as well as to offer an alternative meeting point for the up-and-coming creative scene of Wedding. In the day time Panke welcomes for a coffee, beer, vegan/vegetarian lunch and for a talk. This chilled place is perfect to meet friends, share your ideas and to create new ones. The bar is continuously re-decorated by local and international artists. Roaming around you will find Pankes gallery, which host various types of art events and exhibitions. The back yard meets Panke river, therefore it’s even more laid-back and refreshing (very important in this summer!). The whole of Panke, including its hof and terrace is used to create interesting larger experiences, which are an attempt to escape the typical gallery setup. The idea of Panke is not to limit creativity and to give a space of expression to individuals with different ideas. It is a great environment for unknown, undiscovered, experimental works. In nights and weekends Panke fills in with vibrant vibes of positive people, movies, performances and music. There are several series of regular events and always some space for new-experimental ones. Here is no gap between artists and audience and guests are encouraged to engage in various interactive installations and workshops as well as music performances. Panke is “safe environment” for opening your mind .
