Adress: U-Bhf. Schlesisches Tor, 10997 Berlin
Directly at the Schlesisches Tor, Bi Nuu has settled directly in the train station. Before that, the club was called Kato. The music played here is very broad: from hardcore punk concerts to electro parties.
The variety is no coincidence, but belongs to the concept of the musically open-minded crew, but I have put it under Indie Rock Clubs. It’s bad that clubs are just trying to break through my drawer thinking with their innovative thinking. Well, the Bi Nuuu regularly hosts concerts of bands like: Daily Bread, Dear Tick, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, all the way to Astra and Lido. Funnily enough, David Gruber and Torsten Brandt also take care of the Lido and the Astra Kulturhaus with Astra Veranstaltungs GmbH. This completes the circle. Theoretically, you could even do concert hopping, because all three are relatively close to each other. The high vault underneath the subway rails is bathed in red light, has leather lounge sofas and large, imprinted semi-arched windows. From HiHop to Punk/Hardcore/Metal and the one or other IndieBand everything is represented. The audience varies depending on the event & concert. Sometimes young hipsters come, sometimes more mature music lovers – why “Bi Nuuu”? This was the name of the third album by Ideal, the band that determined the sound of the Neue Deutsche Welle in the early eighties.
