Queer Berliner Artists ELECTROSEXUAL and Nicky Miller announce their “Like That” Release Party for Thursday, 27 November (19:00 – 23:30) at Lark in Berlin, just ahead of their “Like That” release coming out digitally on 28 November. The event will feature their debut LIVE performance, premiere screening of their new music video (directed by Stays Žak), and DJ sets by local queer gems Sherø and DJ KILLING.

ELECTROSEXUAL and interdisciplinary genderqueer artist NICKY MILLER join forces on this new High Energy Duo performance project, diving deep into queer Acid House terrain.Their sound is genre-blending across Glam, Electroclash, Clubbing, and Poetry about body, identity & sexuality, with an infectious techno-pop sound. The duo formed in 2022 in Berlin, quickly
became an underground queer party favorite for their ecstatic beats and unique blend of dance, acid-disco, and electronic music, creating a „portable party“ experience that makes audiences want to dance.

ELECTROSEXUAL:
With past collaborations alongside Peaches, David Carretta, Hanin Elias (Atari Teenage Riot) and Kiko, the French-born, Berlin-based producer ELECTROSEXUAL stands as one of the „key figures of the French Electroclash sound“ alongside Miss Kittin & The Hacker and
Vitalic — as recently highlighted by The Guardian. They have a famously raw analogue sound and have performed at the scene’s most cult clubs. This new single lands soon after a remix for Captain Mustache on Mobilee Records and ahead of opening for KOMPROMAT
(aka Vitalic & Rebekah Warrior)’s sold-out Berlin show in December. ELECTROSEXUAL’s sonic universe boldly explores themes of gender identity, art, alternative sexualities, and our intimate relationships with technology, celebrating unity, resilience, and the ongoing
fight against all forms of discrimination.

NICKY MILLER:
Nicky Miller is a Berlin-based genderqueer interdisciplinary artist specializing in film, performance art & creative writing. Nicky was born nearby Paris and is of Vietnamese roots. LGTBQ sexualities and identities are at the core of Nicky’s work, never afraid of tackling politically sensitive topics such as sex-work, fetishism, BDSM and queer sex practices. Their Award-winning work offers a hallucinative escape from the norms of the society through the desires and sexual emancipation of their characters. Challenging normative structures and conventional thinking, Nicky’s work is redefining society’s perception of queer identities. Their films have been lauded by the underground press and shown at film festivals all over the world.
