Oki Moki was formed in San Sebastian (ESP) during the summer of 2016. Paula (bass & vocals) and Aritz (guitar & vocals) together with a beatbox started as a bedroom duo of lo-fi pop music. In May 2017 they released Ocean Breeze, their first album in the shape of a cassette. “It brings to our minds the most serious side of The Babies, with an obvious influence of punk but focused on poppy structures which soften all loose angles.”
After a few years on the road touring the underground scene of the country, in 2020 they released their second long length Working Class Pop. The great reception of the album took them to play in renowned festivals in Spain such as Monkey Week (Seville), Sound Isidro (Madrid), Irun Zuzenean (Irun), etc. In 2022, strengthened as a trio, they keep on blooming punk-souled pop atmospheres that feed on urgent lo-fi melodies.
KARA DELIK combines driving yet complex rhythms, gritty basslines and hints of traditional Turkish folk music. Inspired by the Anatolian rock music of the 70’s, German Krautrock and Punk of the 80s, and their diverse experiences in Berlin’s lively off-culture. At times experimental, post-punk, with a touch of shoe-gaze, they bring a fresh approach to alternative music in the city.
