With TONAL DESIGNS FROM DUS comes a bundle of Protagonists of the contemporary electronic music scene of Düsseldorf. Rooted in the well know place called SALON DES AMATEURS the three present a brand of electronic sound from the Rhineland, bringing together ideas of industrial noise, fractured melodies and (poly)rhythmical strength, merged to an urban shaped proto dance music based on their own manifold approaches. Sølyst (Kreidler, bureau b) is focused on analog Drumming, Live Sampling and Sequencing and creates polyrhythmic Patterns with pulsing Bass and sparse Melodies. Yürke (Graph, Krachladen) plays dark Dub-Electronic including improvisational Live-Sequencing and is frequently djing at Salon des Amateurs. Pondskater (Hauch) comes with erratic and nervously playful Downbeats in a Live-Coding-Performance including Visuals.
