A West Coast icon known around the world, Xzibit is the embodiment of do-it-yourself hustle, moving seamlessly between board rooms, film sets and recording studios while building an entertainment empire.

X first came to the attention of hip-hop fans as a member of the revered rap collective The Likwit Crew, where founder King T enlisted the raucous group Tha Alkaholiks and newcomer Xzibit into the clique. X’s 1996 debut album, At The Speed Of Life, is considered by many to be an underground rap classic, spawning the timeless record „Paparazzi.“ His sophomore project, 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz, was lauded by critics and fans alike with the single „What U See Is What U Get“ topping the charts. Appearing on Snoop Dogg’s „Bitch Please,“ his talents impressed the legendary producer Dr. Dre who featured him on three tracks of his album 2001, including the hit „What’s the Difference“ alongside Eminem. X then landed a coveted spot on the epic Up In Smoke Tour, joining a bill that included Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube and Eminem.

Forging a strong artistic bond with Dre, the production giant would oversee Xzibit’s next solo album, Restless, which X released through his new label Open Bar Entertainment. The album achieved platinum status with the unforgettable „X“, a worldwide hit that became synonymous with the MC. Dr. Dre produced his next star-studded album, Man Vs Machine, which went gold and featured fellow hip-hop heavyweights Snoop and Eminem, who enlisted X as a headlining act on the globe-spanning Anger Management Tour and a featured role in the film 8 Mile. Hollywood soon took interest in his vibrant personality as he went on to host MTV’s uber successful Pimp My Ride, which led to numerous film roles including xXx: State Of The Union with Ice Cube, Gridiron Gang alongside Dwayne Johnson, The X-Files: I Want To Believe, Derailed and Bad Lieutenant opposite Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes. That time saw the release of his fifth studio album, Weapons Of Mass Destruction, which went gold, and the independent release of his sixth album, Full Circle. X returned years later with his seventh album Napalm, featuring Wiz Khalifa and The Game, embarking on a world tour in 2012.

Back on TV screens across the world, Xzibit recently starred in three seasons of the mega-hit series Empire opposite Terrance Howard and Taraji Henson, as well as the Netflix feature Sun Dogs. Stepping behind the camera, X wrote, produced and directed the upcoming digital music series Broken Ground, featuring Open Bar label artist James Savage (fka Jayo Felony) in an epic return to his hip-hop roots. Blending the traditional narrative with music video and documentary, the anthology series explores unique artist stories through the visual styling of their own music & lyrics. Currently in release from OBE, Xzibit reconnects with B-Real from Cypress Hill and Demrick in the third project from the Serial Killers, Day Of The Dead, which dropped on Halloween. Produced by Budda, Nottz, Bink and 21, the album features Mexican rapper C-Kan as well as Brevi and James Savage. Up next for Open Bar is new label artist Benz Shelton, a young rapper looking to put Albuquerque, NM, on the map.
