Iconoclast and MONOM present : David Uzochukwu

13. Okt. 16:00 bis 21:00
Nalepastrasse 18, 12459 Berlin

As part of the 2nd annual Berlin Photo Week, ICONOCLAST & MONOM developed a new form of art exhibition to present at Funkhaus. David Uzochukwu is a Berlin-based photographer with a focus on portrait photography. In his digital practice, vulnerability and the subtly surreal come together to form an intimate haven. Often merging and extending subjects with nature, the question of belonging is central in his work. In 2014 he won the EyeEm Award, which marked the beginning of his career. Now he will return to Berlin Photo Week with a hypnotic experience in which his visuals are re-enacted by an immersive soundscape. David Uzochukwu’s imagery will be narrated through an interactive sound installation created by MONOM’s Creative Director and sound designer, William Russell. David’s photography becomes a physical experience, provoking a new way of feeling the work of a visual artist. The 4DSOUND system cultivates a social listening space in which the visitor interacts with sound and space, moving freely to explore an environment without limits.

This event is open to the public and free of charge.
