The Auster Club is a 100 square metre club hidden in the cellar vaults of the Weltrestaurant Markthalle. At the heart of our concept regular live concerts are followed by DJ sets at the weekends. Our stylistic orientation concentrates on the best decades of the 20th century, from the Swing and Jazz of the 1920s up to the punk rock of 1977. We Kreuzbergers like honest, hand-made music that’s fun to listen to. The club is reminiscent of a 1940s basement jazz venue; the ceiling features brick vaults and there’s a long bar in the corner. Cozy leather couches and a large seratared smoking lounge are available for chilling out. In short, a great venue for rocking the weekends with good music.
