Vom Fahrstuhl übers Pardkdeck in Richtung Parkhausschnecke hochlaufen.
On top kommen noch soziale Rabattprogramme.

…………………………

The Klunkerkranich rises high above the city. A green open oasis full of sunlight that blocks out the noise of the city and puts you in a kind of eco village scenery with festival stand touch. There is much that is typical for Berlin, if you take the wooden constructions and decorations of the early 2000s as your standard. But it is also much more than just another open air location. It’s something between club, garden, beach bar and just fun.
Take the subway from Neukölln City Hall, then a few meters further on take the entrance of the library / post office, get into the elevators there, go up to the 5th floor. From the elevator, walk up over the parking deck in the direction of the winding driveway. Then there is the sun deck with live music and DJs, bar, food and everything that makes the typical Millenial Expat happy. The Neuköllner meets the Mexican. The Swabian meets the Prenzlberger, his neighbour. On the roof of a mall in Neukölln is the perfect place for a cosy after-work drink. Who would have thought it? This makes it the only shopping center in Berlin that shouldn’t be torn down.
In the afternoon there is a nice DJ Sound, often beyond the classic electro sound. Because, and this is the special thing, it doesn’t always have to be click click tzz tzz bum bum. Live bands with a wide range of music, may open up new fans here. The booking ranges from electro-organic to world wide grooves and jazz. In general, the makers are very socially committed without making a fuss, which makes them even more nice. You can feel the closeness, the familiarity, the casualness of the crew among each other, and this also comes back to you as a guest.
On Sundays they regularly roams the cosmic regions of electronic soundscapes. Two former authors from „Blogrebellen“ make sure that everything here is relaxed and musically brilliant. After a season full of jazz jam sessions over the city, Kranich & Jazzy Berlin present „Jazzy On The Roof“ every Wednesday with a live jazz band consisting of changing local jazz cats and selected record entertainers! Jazzy Berlin brings jazz back to the streets. Big players like Jazzanova have settled in and party on the roof every three months. But also lovers of Electro, Techno and House get their money’s worth at events like Mono.Noise, Kamai or far away.
There is the roof garden to join in, everywhere you can discover little works of art by the house artist Willi Tomes, there is the „Behind the Alps“ which is the club so to speak. Here headliners meet newcomers in a completely relaxed way, without the pressure of being a newbie in a club.
The „living room“ is the bar and the place for concerts and food. On average over 1000 DJs and about 150 bands cavort here every year. There are many markets, readings, festivals or comedy nights. One also cooperates with the district and helps with social actions such as housing projects or works together with the Neuköllner Volkshochschule on interactive lectures and discussions. They have also many other social discount programs. Holders of the Berlin Pass can get in for half the price of admission and residents within a radius of 500 meters are completely free.
