Das Sisyphos… Auf der einen Seite ist das Gelände der ehemaligen Hundekuchenfabrik an der Rummelsburger Bucht ein absolut beeindruckender Abenteuerspielplatz für Erwachsene. Mit dem Strand, den Schrott-Installationen, der „Hammahalle“ für harten Techno und dem „Wintergarten“ für House kann man hier problemlos von Freitag bis Montag die Realität komplett wegschieben. Auf der anderen Seite ist das Sisyphos längst ein Epizentrum des Berliner Rave-Tourismus. Die Schlangen am Eingang sind oft absurd lang, der Vibe erinnert stark an ein durchkommerzialisiertes Festival-Disneyland und mit Underground hat das Ganze schon lange nichts mehr zu tun. Sisyphos divides opinions in the Berlin club scene like almost no other venue. On the one hand, the site of the former dog biscuit factory at Rummelsburger Bucht is an absolutely impressive adventure playground for adults. With the beach, the scrap metal installations, the „Hammahalle“ for hard techno, and the „Wintergarten“ for house, you can easily push reality aside from Friday to Monday. On the other hand, Sisyphos has long been the epicenter of Berlin rave tourism. The queues at the entrance are often absurdly long, the vibe strongly resembles a commercialized festival Disneyland, and it hasn’t had anything to do with the underground for a long time. However, if you’re just looking for days of uncomplicated open-air partying and don’t mind the wait, you will reliably get exactly that here.

Der VOID Club im Wiesenweg (direkt neben dem ehemaligen Kosmonaut und jetzigen OXI) führt das rohe Erbe des legendären Subland nahtlos weiter. Wer hippen Mitte-Techno oder entspannten House sucht, kann direkt wieder umdrehen. Im VOID gibt es konsequent Drum & Bass, Jungle, Psytrance und Hardcore auf die Ohren. Das Design und der Vibe auf den zwei Floors sind dunkel, verschwitzt und erinnern stark an die alten, kompromisslosen Zeiten der Berliner Clubkultur vor dem großen Hype. Es gibt keinen Dresscode, keine unnötige Tür-Politik und kein Szene-Gehabe, sondern einfach nur hohe BPM-Zahlen und eine Crowd, die wegen der Musik kommt. The VOID Club on Wiesenweg (right next to the former Kosmonaut) seamlessly carries on the raw legacy of the legendary Subland. If you’re looking for trendy Mitte techno or relaxed house, you can turn right back around. VOID consistently delivers Drum & Bass, Jungle, Psytrance, and Hardcore. The design and vibe across the two floors are dark, sweaty, and highly reminiscent of the old, uncompromising days of Berlin club culture before the massive hype. There’s no dress code, no unnecessary door policy, and no scene posturing—just high BPMs and a crowd that shows up for the music. An absolutely honest, unpretentious venue for the harder genres far from the mainstream.
