Soon after the release of his refined and uplifting disco single ‘Call My Name’, Vancouver-based electronic producer Sleepy Tom will be sharing his new single, ‘Time and Time Again’, which premiered on Dancing Astronaut and features the band Hotel Mira, on the 4th of August via MNRK. The producer has shifted his sound to focus on more the jovial tone of disco soundscapes, ‘Call My Name’ was the start of this evolution and sets the tone for what is to come.

The prestigious producer previously collaborated with Diplo on the platinum-certified ‘Be Right There’ which reached #2 on the UK Dance charts, Top 10 in the UK Charts and #8 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic charts. Sleepy Tom has also worked with other established artists including Anna Lunoe, Grandtheft and LIGHTS as well as providing official remixes for Zeds Dead, Martin Solveig, Porter Robinson and Dillon Francis amongst others.

Cam Tatham’s journey as Sleepy Tom has been one for the history books. The producer has worked with well-known labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Fool’s Gold and Mad Decent and his video for ‘Seeing Double ft. Tonye’ won the Best Post-Production Award from iHeartRadio. The producer finds inspiration in the music he also listens to, citing artists like The Avalanches, Jungle, The Weeknd and Breakbot to name a few. In turn, ‘Time and Time Again(feat. Hotel Mira)’ draws parallels to the works of Jungle, Purple Disco Machine and The Weeknd.

Featured alternative act Hotel Mira (formerly known as JPNGIRLS) are a Vancouver, Canada-based band. The group consists of Charlie Kerr (vocals and lyricist), Mike Noble (bassist), Clark Grieve (keyboardist), and Cole George (drummer).

We join Sleepy Tom on another disco-infused dance party with this latest banger, which keeps the mind relaxed and the feet tapping along to its liberating beats. Sleepy Tom is a skilled producer that makes time feel like an illusion with his lovable and retro-infused beat fusions. ‘Time and Time Again(feat. Sleepy Tom elaborates on the process of working on this latest single: “Charlie and I met during our first writing session last fall. We seemed destined to work together at some point, since we shared a bizarre amount of social connections. I’m stoked to put this song out with him and Hotel Mira—it lives in this strange disco-punk world which feels nostalgic yet fresh.”
