On June the 13th ’25 his brand-new EP will be premiered: “Geeks On Hubbard EP” (ARTS).

This release contains of 4 tracks and there’s a unique story behind the title track, that’s already gained a huge popularity before its official release behind the biggest DJ names worldwide.

This future anthem (Geeks On Hubbard feat. DJ Rush) is an organic, unplanned spontanous creative action – it’s a story charged with friendship, emotion and love of music that we love the underground so much for.

Deas has been working on new music and one of the new tracks was almost ready. But there was still something missing…

I was mulling over it for hours, when suddenly I had a real flashback in my head. I decided to reach for the beloved Chicago classic track by DJ Rush and use his vocal samples, which have always captivated me so much.

I remember sitting in the backstage of the Crackhouse club in Gdansk with resident of the club Cranz (Kysh Records) and playing and discussing the classic techno tracks that inspired us. “Freaks on Hubbard” was definitely one of them! recalls Deas.

The vocal samples from a Chicago track that came out in 1998 on the UK label Pro-Jex Recordings were just perfect for my song while paying respect to the original.

From the start, I knew it had to be an official release and not a bootleg, so I decided to send it to DJ Rush accordingly, with whom I played together a couple of times and who often supports my music. The response came almost immediately: I had the artist’s permission!

Deas makes no secret of the fact that he was incredibly excited about this track and saw great dancefloor potential in it. The boss of ARTS label –  Emmanuel reacted with equal excitement.

This totally spontaneous, unplanned action proves how beautiful the techno movement is, how the music is making a comeback and building bridges across time and space – this time between the respected black techno innovators from USA in the 1990s and Poland in 2025.

Let us recall that Deas was also a winner of a competition for a remix of a Kevin Saunderson ( Inner City) song “Good Luck”  at the beginning of his career.

“Geeks on Hubbard EP” has early support from DJ’s like Daria Kolosova, Chris Liebing, Ben Sims, Anne, Slam, Luke Slater.
