Internationally acclaimed DJ Natasha Diggs and UK-born, Lisbon-based DJ/vocalist Megatronic are proud to announce their first collaborative EP People, set for release in May 2026 via The Jazz Diaries. This new project began in the summer of 2023 when Diggs and Megatronic first joined forces, bonding over a shared vision of dance music as a joyful, soulful, community-centered experience. Over the past two years, the transatlantic duo has channeled that ethos into People, a record that merges their distinct talents and global influences into a vibrant, uplifting sound.
Anchored by two standout tracks, People captures the warm, inclusive energy Diggs and Megatronic bring to every dancefloor. The title track “People” is an anthemic house jam that celebrates unity, complete with soulful hooks and an infectious groove that urges the crowd to move. Meanwhile, “Leen” delivers a deep, funky pulse under Megatronic’s spirited vocals, blending classic soul vibes with modern club flair. Both songs embody the EP’s mission of bringing people together through music, radiating positivity from start to finish. Rounding out the release, listeners can also look forward to a selection of remixes and DJ-friendly edits that reimagine the originals, extending the EP’s joyous atmosphere for different dancefloor moods.
As a veteran selector, Natasha Diggs has earned global respect for her deep vinyl knowledge and dynamic sets – she’s even toured with Lauryn Hill and held a famed DJ residency alongside Q-Tip in New York. Megatronic, a multi-faceted artist with over two decades in the scene, has recently been hailed by DJ Mag as its “Best Emerging Artist”, thanks to her infectious energy and genre-blending style. Together, their collaboration fuses Diggs’s roots in soul and funk with Megatronic’s cutting-edge club sensibilities, creating a cross-generational sound that feels both timeless and fresh.
People EP was co-produced by Morgan Wiley – known for his work with Hercules & Love Affair and disco outfit Midnight Magic – adding his studio expertise to the project without losing the duo’s organic touch. The EP will be released on The Jazz Diaries, a label renowned for its soulful, jazz-infused approach to dance music. People arrive in May 2026, poised to bring a refreshing wave of joyful, soulful, community-centered energy to dance floors worldwide.
