Deep Owen is a Johannesburg-based producer, remixer and DJ emerging from South Africa’s thriving underground house scene. Raised in Braamfisherville, Soweto, the self-taught artist blends deep house, minimal, dub, Afro and techno influences into warm, soulful productions rooted in emotion, groove and spirituality. Inspired by artists such as Jimpster, Atjazz and the wider South African underground movement, his music channels atmosphere and healing energy through textured rhythms and immersive sound design.
Over the past few years, Deep Owen has steadily built an international presence through releases, guest mixes and radio appearances on platforms including JOZI FM, VOW FM and Ibiza Stardust Radio. With a sound that balances depth, movement and soul, he continues to establish himself as one of the rising names within the new wave of South African underground house music.
