Ukrainian-born, New York-based DJ and producer DJ Amadeus returns with Your Deeper Self, a driving Melodic Techno single landing on Axiom on September 4th. The release marks a return to the music industry for the classically trained pianist, Amadeus came up during New York’s ’90s club era, building his reputation at venues including Tunnel, Limelight and Webster Hall before moving further into production. His music has since appeared through labels such as Pacha Recordings and Tiger Records, as well as on a range of big dance compilations. He also made consecutive appearances in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, entering at No. 97 in 2005 before climbing to No. 24 the following year.
Your Deeper Self brings that long-standing dance-floor experience into a more focussed phase. Built around driving melodic movement and a powerful late-night atmosphere. Balancing emotional depth with the directness needed for the club and the nuance in Amadeus finely honed productions.
