Soul Quest Records proudly welcomes longtime friend and label mastering engineer Coflo for his long-awaited debut on the label with the Gimme That EP, a rich collaboration with Egyptian-American vocalist, bassist and multidisciplinary artist Aya Moor. Arriving on 18 September 2026, Gimme That delivers three beautifully crafted originals that blend deep, soulful house with Afro and jazz influences, showcasing two artists united by a shared passion for musicality, movement and community.
Opening with the infectious title track, „Gimme That,“ the EP immediately sets the tone with warm percussion, expressive live instrumentation and Aya Moor’s captivating vocal performance. „Home“ follows with a deeper, more reflective energy, while „Try“ rounds out the trio with uplifting grooves, soulful melodies and an organic warmth that bridges the worlds of live performance and the dancefloor.
The package is completed with Coflo’s „Backside Mix“ of Gimme That, a deeper, dubbed-out reinterpretation designed for late-night dancefloors, alongside radio edits of both Gimme That and Try, making the release equally suited to club selectors and wider audiences.
Coflo has become one of contemporary house music’s most respected producers, with releases on acclaimed labels including Local Talk, Yoruba Records, Nervous, Sacred Medicine and Freerange Records. Drawing on decades immersed in house dance and Capoeira culture, his productions are celebrated for their groove, soul and authenticity. Aya Moor brings a fresh and distinctive voice to the collaboration, combining her roots in jazz improvisation, live bass performance and electronic production into a sound she describes as „music as mantra, dance as ritual.“
