Marie Chain ist eine independent Sängerin, Songwriterin, Pianistin und Produzentin aus Berlin. Sie schreibt ihre Songs unterwegs und lässt sich von den Klängen und Eindrücken ihrer Reisen inspirieren. Ihr Stil vereint Global Soul, Neo‑Soul, Retro Soul und Pop Fusion – für Fans von Erykah Badu, Sade, Lauryn Hill und Alicia Keys.
Sie erhielt klassischen Klavier‑ und Gesangsunterricht ab dem Alter von fünf Jahren. Zu ihren Kooperationen zählen unter anderem Alligatoah und das Prague Metropolitan Orchestra. Sie trat auf Festivals wie dem Cairo Jazz Festival, Indian Spirit, Blues & Jazz Festival Bamberg, Rudolstadt Festival und Feel Festival auf und spielte in bekannten Locations wie Quasimodo Berlin, b-flat, Huxley’s Neue Welt und Klunkerkranich sowie für ein Konzert vor dem Bundesministerium in Berlin.
2023 erhielt sie den German Songwriting Award für ihren Song „Freedom“ und 2025 den Deutschen Singer‑Songwriter Preis, sowie den Deutschen Rock & Pop Preis für „Take A Ride“.

Marie Chain is an independent singer‑songwriter, pianist, and producer based in Berlin. She writes on tour, drawing inspiration from the sounds and cultures she encounters around the world. Her music blends Global Soul, Neo‑Soul, Retro Soul, and Pop Fusion – a sound that will appeal to fans of Erykah Badu, Sade, Lauryn Hill, and Alicia Keys.
Trained in classical piano and voice from age five, Marie has collaborated with artists such as Alligatoah and the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra and has performed at festivals including Cairo Jazz Festival, Indian Spirit, Blues & Jazz Festival Bamberg, Rudolstadt Festival, and Feel Festival. She has also appeared at venues like Quasimodo Berlin, b-flat, Huxley’s Neue Welt, and Klunkerkranich, and has performed for the Federal Ministry in Berlin.
In 2023, she won the German Songwriting Award for her song “Freedom” and in 2025 she received the German Singer-Songwriter Prize, and the German Rock & Pop Award for „Take A Ride“.
