After last year’s wildly successful session, Native Instruments again joins the MusicMakers Hacklab at Club Transmediale Festival 2014. Get rare insights into how Native Instruments designs their products in two interactive sessions hosted by Peter Kirn, founder of Create Digital Music.

Session 1:

Shaping the Future of Digital DJing

In the first part of this session, TRAKTOR Senior Product Designer Friedemann Becker and two-time DMC world champion DJ Shiftee will discuss balancing a well-designed user experience with feature enrichment. The second part of the session will explore how to hold – and even increase – the audience’s engagement with the artist by taking full advantage of the possibilities of performing as a digital DJ.

Designing Musical Evolution: User-Centric Process and Research at Native Instruments

MASCHINE Senior Product Designer Florian Grote and MASCHINE Director of Products Florian Schneidmadel will explore how working with users and artists helps them design and develop MASCHINE around the needs of those who use it.
