Well known for his sumptuous reinterpretation of classic disco sounds, ‚Back to the Roots of Love‘ sees NTEIBINT widen his sonic palette, the result a stunning number that combines pop, R&B and disco sounds with the jazzier end of 90s Broken Beat and House music.Taking us from one side of the Mediterranean to the other Eskimo have tapped up Moroccan producer Saib to remix the track. Having made a name for himself with a series of acclaimed releases that have mixed styles and sounds around the world the Casablanca based producer and guitarist delivers a remix that wraps subtle, intricate fretwork, gauzy textures and boom bap beats around Matina’s vocals to wonderful effect.

Biography

Over the past few years Greek producer NTEIBINT has become one of Eskimo Recordings‘ go-to artists producing the kind of emotional disco that is guaranteed to move body, heart and soul. NTEIBINT is the musical alter ego of Greek producer George Bakalakos, who has been at the forefront of the Greek electronic music scene for a number of years.

The gifted producer is known for lush, sonic soundscapes and strong grooves. He hosts a daily radio show on the Athenian eclectic radio station, En Lefko 87.7. Currently joining forces with singer and fellow Athenian Matina Sous Peau on ‚Back To The Roots of Love‘ and ‚Love Is Everywhere‘, NTEIBINT has become well known for his sumptuous reinterpretation of classic disco sounds.

Before teaming up with Matina Sous Peau, NTEIBINT has been collaborating with Greek singer Σtella (signed to Sub Pop Records) on outstanding indie dance tracks ‚Never Without You‘, ‚The Owner‘, ‚Hide In‘ and ‚A State Nearby‘, including remixes by Ewan Pearson, Adam Port, Anoraak and Zombies In Miami. They also jointly produced and composed the musical score for the Opening Ceremony of the first European Games (Baku 2015).
