Last month, Pete Tong’s Future Stars for 2021 Andy Bowden and Ken Petalcorin, better known as TIBASKO released ‘The One’ on Another Rhythm / Three Six Zero Recordings. Evoking powerful euphoria, ‘The One’ demonstrated their effortlessly indulgent production quality. Since its release, it has generated over 200K Spotify streams, seen multiple playlist additions and also had the duo featured as Billboard Dance’s ‘Emerging Artists of 2021’.

Now, they reveal ‘Let Me Tell You’ alongside ‘The One’, further exposing their tenacious partnership, creative and immersive backgrounds, and an undoubtful talent in unifying their musical colour. Both Ken & Andy hold depth in their musical experiences that includes impressive global travels, allowing them to explore elements of breakbeat, melodic house, more rich techno sounds, world music and original instrumentation in their productions.

“Coming from a live music background, Andy and I have always looked to push the boundaries of our music by introducing more live instruments in an electronic setting. ‘Let Me Tell You’ is an homage to that idea. The vocal sample comes from one of our good friends and fellow musician, Julia Church.” – Ken Petalcorin

‘Let Me Tell You’ sees TIBASKO aim above and beyond the dancefloor, contextualizing their productions for all lovers of electronica to include their eclectic fanbase, as well as artists like MK, Sister Bliss, Diplo, Franky Wah, Prospa, Will Clarke, Paco Osuna, Jay Pryor who have already nodded their approval.

“It’s not often an electronic producer can flex their electric guitar skills on a record and get away with it, we wanted to do just that. ‘Let Me Tell You’ is a track catered for the listener at home to fully lose themselves in the earie vocals, disjointed bells and spacey guitar solos”. – Andy Bowden

TIBASKO have plays at a number of key parties under their belt already, despite not being able to play out during these last months. From gigs at Percolate, Wonderland Brighton for Pride, Tobacco Dock, ADE and El Dorado, the pair now look forward to the reopening of clubbing with confirmed shows at Night Tales London, Motion Bristol, Snowbombing Festival and more.

The guys productions have also seen a wide range of support with their music championed by the likes of Denis Sulta, The Blessed Madonna, Pete Tong, John Digweed, Franky Wah, Hammer, TSHA, and many more. This purveyance of their authenticity has led them to be named in ‘The Hot List’ of acts on BBC Introducing in both 2019 & 2020, to reaching number 3 in Kiss FM’s ‘One To Watch 2020’ list.

Now in 2021 they have been named as Radio 1 Pete Tong’s Future Stars and Billboard Dance ‘Emerging Artists’, eliciting their reassuringly vibrant future.

TIBASKO ‘The One’ / ‘Let Me Tell You’ is out now on Another Rhythm / Three Six Zero Recordings.
