On an old airfield near Berlin, VËRYL Festival seeks for a conscious departure from classical music festivals. In addition to a diverse line-up of contemporary house and techno artists split across two stages, VËRYL Festival invites guests to get inspired by yoga, a wine bar, a pool, a restaurant, performances and art installations. The foundations for VËRYL Festival are sustainability and awareness.
The careful use of resources and the renunciation of meat are just as much a part of the festival’s DNA as the support of non-profit organization Baumretter e.V. In 2022, for every ticket sold, two euros will go to the Baumretter e.V., which has set the goal of enabling people and cities to lead sustainable and conscious lives, and to therefore actively support the environment. Together with the municipal utilities and the Werneuchen town council,VËRYL Festival are starting a project that will protect Werneuchen’s tree population. The project will fund large-scale watering, tree planting campaigns as well as tree sponsorships. The use of all funds will be listed transparently in due course.
The festival aims to be a safe space for everyone, especially for PoC and LGBTQ+ individuals. An awareness team will be present on-site at all times. Any forms of racism, discrimination, trans- and homophobia have no place at VËRYL Festival.
