On May 11/12, 2023 WISE – The Future Festival & Think Tank is coming to Berlin for the second time Expect around 50 speakers, 10+ artists, 3 venues and 800 delegates from 15 countries during two days full of talks, music and networking events in various venues in Friedrichshain, the heart of Berlin’s music & tech scene (SAE, ÆVE, Riverside Studios and more). Special events include a reception by Music Distributor FUGA as well as a songwriting & creative camp for Eurovision 2024 organized by WISE & GEMA. WISE is bringing Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the world together through Music, Art & Technology.

Centered around the theme “A Change of Mind(s)” some highlights include:

  • Electronic Pioneers TANGERINE DREAM (the band who pretty much invented the “synthesizer sound” around 1967!) will grace our stage for a talk.

  • Together with Berlin Science Week we explore „Creative AI & Neuroscience – How to manipulate our brains & emotions“

  • In cooperation with our partners from ARMC we are welcoming an African delegation of music professionals and shine a light on the business possibilities in South Africa and beyond, including a performance by south african performer NAMAKAU STAR

  • We dive into the world of Immersive Sound and have a look how it changes the musical
    landscape and our listening habits

  • In “Tik Tok, Brands, Bands & Influence” we have a closer look at Tik Tok and influencer culture in general.

  • We´ll have a breakfast with the movers & shakers of the XR Industry hosted by Berlin Partner and Virtual Reality Berlin-Brandenburg (VRBB)

  • We discuss if “Artists still need labels?” with stakeholders of the industry.

  • Presented by Association of Electronic Music (AFEM) we investigate if Green Technology can save the world (and music)

  • In „After the Hype“ we look at How and what Brands & Creatives are still building in Web3

2023 Speakers – Once again WISE provides you with some of the best speakers at the intersection of music, art & technology. Expanding from our 2018 founding in Asia, we are especially happy to welcome a delegation from Africa this year.
