Emerging French artist Victor Tomasi, known for his electronic universe blending classic and modern house, unveils a new project: a three-track EP titled “Democracy EP”, available on all streaming platforms starting July 18.
With this EP, Victor Tomasi explores a highly rhythmic electronic aesthetic — a return to the roots of electronic music, infused with more traditional instrumentation. Each track invites the listener to surrender to hypnotic grooves and lush synth layers, while maintaining a distinct sonic identity.
A narrative and sensory EP
Composed in Paris, Democracy EP draws inspiration from live concert musicianship to introduce new textures into club-oriented electronic music. All basslines were recorded on an electric bass guitar, while the acoustic drums were captured at Studio M in Montreuil.
The result is an introspective journey, driven by dynamic arrangements rooted in the tradition of house music with a human touch.
About the artist
Victor Tomasi is an emerging figure in the French house scene. He has collaborated with artists such as Kazam, Larry Houl, and Nomeo. His music combines classic house grooves with live instrumentation, creating a signature hybrid sound.
He will perform his first solo live show — featuring machines and electric bass — on June 21 in Paris.
