With +++, DAÏKO takes a first step into electronic music, leaving behind his usual perfectionist approach to explore a more spontaneous, instinctive and playful way of creating.
Across three tracks, the EP blends fast-paced electronic rhythms with more organic influences, drawing from footwork, ghetto-tech, R&B, soul and funk. The result is energetic and groove-driven, while keeping a strong sense of melody and warmth.
The EP opens with “ENTRE DEUX MAINS” the first single, built around a fast, driving drum pattern and a triumphant atmosphere. Repeated vocal phrases, inspired by DAÏKO’s listening to DJ Rashad during the making of the project, give the track a hypnotic quality and reflect a feeling of gratitude for being able to make music.
The focus track, “DAÏKO CLUB” is the song that sparked the entire EP. Starting from a ghetto-tech-inspired drum pattern, DAÏKO contrasts its uptempo rhythm with melancholic chords influenced by R&B and soul. A played bassline and guitar parts bring an organic warmth to the production, creating a dialogue between raw club energy and more human textures.
The EP closes with “STEP BY STEP” a track that leans towards Jersey Club, combining its fast, syncopated rhythmic approach with DAÏKO’s melodic and organic sensibility.
With +++, DAÏKO embraces a freer and more playful side of his musical identity, turning experimentation into a space for movement, groove and pure enjoyment.
