Bienvenidx de regreso a Dystrópico, la isla de significado entre los conceptos del trópico y la distopía, una invitación a repensar nuestra diáspora latina en la inmediatez de una Europa rápida e incierta, un llamado a (re)vivir nuestra diversidad, a generar contra-cultura, a descolonizar con hedonismo y deconstruir los sedimentos de un supuesto sueño tropical.

Con esto en mente y cuerpa, nuestrxs artistas re-interpretarán diversos ritmos de sus tierras en un amalgama de texturas y colores electrónicos: House, Techno, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Electro, Breaks,

Dystrópico es un movimiento en contra del eurocentrismo. Una línea de defensa contra la exotización de nuestras culturas, un grito contra el extraccionismo, contra el imperio neoliberal y su ideología patriarcal, contra el clasicismo y el racismo, el sexismo y cualquier tipo de heteronormatividad. Queremos ofrecer un espacio seguro para personas BIPOC y LGTBQI y todxs quienes se identifiquen con nuestros valores

Welcome back to Dystrópico’s island: a place between the concepts of tropics and dystopia, an invitation to rethink our Latin diaspora in the immediacy of a fast and uncertain Europe, a call to enjoy our diversity, to generate counter-culture, to decolonise with hedonism and deconstruct the sediments of a supposed tropical dream.

With this in mind (and body) our artists will re-interpret diverse rhythms from their homelands in an amalgam of electronic textures and colours: house, techno, Reggaeton, Cumbia, electro, breaks.

Dystropic is a movement against Eurocentrism. A line of defence against the exoticisation of our cultures, a cry against extractionism, against the neoliberal empire and its patriarchal ideology, against classicism and racism, sexism and any kind of heteronormativity. We want to offer a safe space for BIPOC and LGTBQI people and all those who identify with our values.
