Event Details

LABYRINTH #2 – NEW DATE FINALLY RELEASED – Saturday 03.07.2021
The long winter has finally ended. Doors are finally re-opening – the LABYRINTH has returned.

/// THE 1781 COLLECTIVE PRESENTS:
A Cabinet of Curiosities. An Exhibition of Performances. A Geisterbahn of musical and artistic experiences. The long-awaited second edition after the first two sold out and successful shows – new and improved, and still completely Covid-19 requirement compliant and safe.

/// WHAT:
10 micro-performances from leading Berlin artists, showcasing the entire range of classical performance and art in the sublime setting of Musikbrauerei – one of Berlin’s last echt and authentic locations.

/// WHY:
We’ve created a journey that will make up for the past seven months of artistic hunger due to the necessary lockdowns. To make up for all we have missed out on, we have curated TEN artists and musicians to experience in under one hour – a tasting menu of Berlin’s finest non-traditional performers.

/// HOW:
You will enter the Labyrinth in groups of no more than twelve fellow audience members. Simply choose which time session you would like to use on the TICKETS link, and book as many tickets as you would like. The tickets remaining will show how many others have chosen the same time. You are welcome to purchase an Entire Session for a reduced fee (scroll to the bottom of the ticket selections), and we will block out an entire session for you and up to eleven friends – or come alone and experience real intimacy.
***If you select an Entire Session, the 1781 Collective team will get in contact with you to confirm a time slot. You can also contact us at info@1781collective.com to choose which available section you want cleared for you and your party. The full experience lasts for around 55 minutes total performance, as well as 10 minutes pre-arrival.

/// WHO:
Artists Include: 1781 Collective, Chris Lloyd, Angela Zamorano (Preussiches Kammerorchester), Spencer Schaefer, Xina Hawkins (Hear Now Berlin), Penelope Gkika (Arcangel Trio), Adam Goodwin, Maroulita de Kol (Reverse Mode), Soraya Schultess (Staatsballett Berlin), Madlen Breckbill (Konzerthaus Academy Berlin), Hugo Tiedje (Berliner Ensemble) and more TBA.

//// RULES AND REQUESTS:
FFP2 or equivalent masks are required from start to finish
A same-day negative Covid-19 test (antigen or better) is required, or a certificate of full vaccination or Covid-19 recovery at least two weeks prior.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session starts – late arrivals will gamble on empty slots ahead of them!
Please input accurate contact details for Covid-19 regulations – we will have a QR-code at entrance to facilitate this.
Sadly the venue is not wheelchair accessible. To make up for this, if you are disabled and have a piano, our pianist will gladly come to you and give you a private concert instead.
Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable.
All questions will be answered at arrival at the venue.

/////FAQs
Q. The first event was priced at 15€, why has it gone up to 18€?
A. To ensure we can pay all artists involved properly for their work, as well as ensuring the venue is compensated well enough to stay open!
Q. Where can I resell my ticket?
A. If you have purchased a ticket, you are welcome to resell it and transfer the name via your Universe account.
Q. Can I access a press pass?
A. If you work in the media and are interested in attending our event, please email info@1781collective.com for any requests!
Q. Will there be drinks available at the venue?
A. Not inside, for Corona Restriction reasons – but we’re endeavouring to set up a mobile bar outside for before and after
Q. Is it child-friendly?
A. Not overly – the space itself and some of the performances are quite intense! We recommend a minimum age of 13.
Q. Can I buy a ticket at the door?
A. Sadly not, again for Corona Restriction reasons!
Q. What if the event needs to be cancelled because of a new Covid-19 Lockdown?
A. Not a problem! In this scenario we’ll offer a full refund – or else you can choose to keep your ticket purchase and have your space automatically reserved for the next event when we resurface.
