Ever-evolving energy is the very fabric of Berlin. In this spirit of evolving GEGEN, BRENN. and Ipek Ipekciouglu (female:pressure) created the very first “QueerPort Festival” in Berlin.

A port is historically a place in which communities prospered, a place of cultural encounter, a point of passage, a connection. A port is a welcomed refuge for those navigating rough waters or during a storm. Based on these premises we thrive to create a hub where we can exchange our energies, where we can merge our cultures, where we can export our ideas.

We understand this collaboration – this PORT – to be a continuation of the solidarity needed in our community and beyond.

QueerPort is celebrating and appreciating the differences in style and approach to queerness by doing what we love most – dance together.

Welcome to QueerPort Festival Vol. 1.

-Bring proof of an up-to-date negative test (not older than 24h), this applies also to vaccinated people.
-Masks must be worn all the time on the dance floor, in queuing situations, and at the toilets.
-There will be no wardrobe/ dressing room.
-We want you and our other guests to feel comfortable, regardless of gender, religion, class, or sexual orientation.
-Please make sure there is consent before approaching any physical contact. Gegen is not a place for discrimination, sexual harassment, or violence.
-If you should observe or experience an inappropriate situation, please don’t hesitate to contact our yellow vest awareness team or any of the staff at the bars/coat check, guest service, or our door crew.
-We like to remind you of our zero-tolerance policy towards GHB/GBL.
-In order to protect each other’s privacy we discourage the use of image recording devices in all the area, we’ll have our own photographer.
-Those who do not comply with these rules will be invited to leave.
-Tickets won’t be available at the door and are not refundable.
-We strongly discourage attending the event without an advance ticket purchased previously online.
-Being in possession of an e-ticket does not guarantee entry, we reserve the right to deny the entrance, refunds will be processed when this happens.
-Please wear comfortable shoes for raving conditions.
