INFO What does awareness mean? To be aware means first of all to be attentive or to be aware and to be sensitive to problems. Awareness is a concept that deals with respectful behavior towards one another. It’s about supporting each other and creating a space in which everyone can feel comfortable and no abuse or discriminatory behavior will be tolerated. Crossing borders is defined individually by those affected: Which incidents lead to people feeling attacked, disregarded, discriminated against, hurt, degraded or overwhelmed is not questioned. What is a harmless little thing for you can unfortunately mean that others lose the joy of celebrating or the event. If you are not sure whether your behavior is okay,

AGAINST DISCRIMINATION: Awareness is a concept directed against any form of discrimination and violence, against boundary violations or encroaching behavior. Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableistic or similar attacks will not be tolerated. Violent persons must leave the room.

SAFER SPACE: The aim is to jointly create a space with less discrimination, in which everyone can feel safer and more comfortable – in full awareness that a space free of discrimination is hardly achievable due to the current social power structures. ONLY YES MEANS YES! All behavior and interaction is based on the principle of consensus.

MUTUAL RESPECT : means recognizing the limits of others: inappropriate teasing, harassment and cross-border behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

DANCE: Be aware of your dance behavior, where you are in the room and how much space you are taking up. RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION: Use drugs only to the extent that you can continue to take responsibility for your behavior at all times.
