Lea Porcelain are known for their international post-punk, indie and garage rock, mixed with a lot of synth power and straight to the heart songwriting. Their use of electronics and their unique live set up and performance with full band is returning to their homebase Funkhaus Berlin. Producer Julien Bracht and singer Markus Nikolaus got to know each other in 2012. Following each other musically, they collaborated in 2014/2015. After their start in London and intense touring through Europe, they released their debut album „HYMNS TO THE NIGHT“ in 2017 as Lea Porcelain, which drew their attention to critics and music fans all around the world and is highly acclaimed by KEXP’s John Richards and BBC Radio 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne. After almost two years on tour, including shows in Italy with Apparat, Benelux and France with alt-J, an arena show in Russia and shows all over the east of Europe and the UK, the release of their second studio album is scheduled for spring/ summer 2020.
