Komfartrauschen are releasing first track from their upcoming debut album “K” that comes out on the 1st of June 2022. Reload is their hardest acid track topped with catchy synth hook. The track was mixed by Leonard De Leonard who used analog gear to add some oldschool processing to a guitar-created rave synth. Martin Flindt shot the music video at Studio Platte Berlin and tried to capure the ecstatic energy of a techno rave. By mixing stroboscope, industrial yellow, fog, light and shadow the band tries to take you into a parallel world of an underground techno club. Since Komfortrauschen are a live band, they highlighted the individual acoustic elements in unusual absurd settings. For example, you can see Laurenz on the isolated kick drum, Phillip on the hi-hat and Tim on the guitar. That again underlines the transformation from produced acid track to live played electronic dance music.
“We forced a guitar to sound like a 303 and managed to make a drumset sound even more brutal than a 909. We added a nasty Bassline and topped it off with some ravey leads. The track was created and recorded during the second lockdown in Berlin. We were in the middle of producing our album and we finished this track quite fast. After we layed down the first acid line everything else came together qickly. We like to work fast and overthinking creative ideas doesnt nescesarily improve a track. Reload hits you hard but always with a little wink. We can’t wait to bring this vibe back to the stages. Reload will be our peak time smasher of the live set.“ Says the band.
The single is coming out on 11.02.2022 via Berlin label Springstoff.

An uncompromised sound welded together from propelling drums, deep unrepentant bass lines and a searing guitar that bites through like acid. They convert their mechanical energy into hedonistic live techno that is impossible to resist. Only thing is, there is no emergency stop!
Komfortrauschen is a live band from Berlin that creates the powerful sound of a techno DJ set in their very own analogue fashion with traditional instruments, filtered through an impressive array of pedals and effects. Imagine a punk band trapped inside a drum computer, the Prodigy being a Berghain resident, Richie Hawtin meets Rammstein. The pure ecstasy and machine accuracy of techno enriched with the fresh energy and playfulness of a live band. Since the band was formed in 2014, Komfortrauschen have played regularly in famous German clubs like Sisyphos, Kantine am Berghain and Kater Blau as well as all over Europe and beyond.
