DakhaBrakha ist eine der bekanntesten Bands aus der Ukraine, sowie aus ganz Osteuropa. Ihr absolut einzigartiger Stil, von den Künstlern selbst „Ethno-Chaos“ genannt, verbindet Einflüsse traditioneller ukrainischer Volkslieder mit experimentellen Improvisationen, deren Wurzeln von Afrika bis Australien zurückverfolgt werden können.
DakhaBrakhas Konzerte sind eine inspirierende, nicht offensichtliche Aufführung, die Ihnen sehr lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Es ist keine Übertreibung sie als die bekanntesten Botschafter der ukrainischen Kultur zu bezeichnen. Immerhin haben sie bereits riesige Konzerthallen in Europa, Asien und Amerika sowie auf den größten Bühnen der Festivals, darunter dem legendären Glastonbury gespielt und ihre Videos aus dem Studio gehen im Handumdrehen viral. DakhaBrakha is one of the most famous bands from Ukraine, as well as from the whole of Eastern Europe. Their absolutely unique style, called “ethno-chaos” by the artists themselves, combines influences of traditional Ukrainian folk songs with experimental improvisations, the roots of which can be traced from Africa to Australia. DakhaBrakha’s concert is an inspiring, non-obvious performance that sticks in your memory for a very long time. It is no exaggeration to call them the most recognizable ambassadors of Ukrainian culture in the world. After all, they have already played in the huge concert halls of Europe, Asia, and the Americas, as well as at the largest popular music festivals, including the legendary Glastonbury in 2016 and on the Pyramid Stage this summer, and videos from the studio are going viral in no time. DakhaBrakha’s music’s uniqueness comes from the message’s authenticity and power achieved through seemingly simple means. The traditional instrumentation combined with the moving vocals of the artists creates a performance that absorbs the listener completely.

Künstlerischer Leiter und Urheber des Ensembles ist der Avantgarde-Regisseur Vladyslav Troitskyi, dank Ihm sind die DakhaBrakha Konzerte visuell so bemerkenswert.
Für die Konzerte im November und Dezember hat die Band speziell ein neues und einzigartiges Bühnenprogramm vorbereitet.
