Nach ihrem Umzug nach London hat Malaika in Underground-Locations wie The Cause, Corsica Studios und Electrowerkz aufgelegt.

Malaika is a DJ, producer and singer/songwriter. Originally from Northern Ireland, based in South London and firmly placed in the dance world.

Previously releasing music as a singer songwriter Malaika caught the attention of Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1 and Jamie Callum, BBC Radio 2.

Relocating to London, Malaika has DJ’d at underground venues including The Cause, Corsica Studios and Electrowerkz.

Roo is a selector dedicated to unearthing and sharing roots-driven dance music. With a particular love for house, broken beat, boogie and electro, you would be pushed to find a mix which is not inspired by her admiration of soulful and deep flavours.Roo’s collection of obscure 90’s and 00’s tracks has captivated audiences across the UK and beyond, landing her a monthly residency on Balamii and leading to gigs at the likes of Brixton Jamm, Bel Air Festival, Soup Kitchen and Lakota. In 2019, Roo met Manchester based Mystique which led to the creation of Shifting Spheres, a collective which platforms women, non binary and trans artists by providing free DJ workshops and production programmes. The same year she also launched the blog Halcyon Wax alongside her partner Oli Judd, with an aim to shine a light on underground music and culture through articles, reviews and events.

Through ever-changing rhythms and moments of letting loose, Carlos2 creates spaces of feel-good-camaraderie and musical portals to possible utopias. By breaking up repetitive monotonies and dichotomies of high- and low-brow culture with fun, she aims for moments of ecstasy. With a mix of soul, house and disco, Carlos2 will keep you on your toes dancing.

She’s also active in the DJ Duo Käthe&Haes who connected genuinely only after discovering their shared love for vinyl, house music and disco, while one night accidently ending up flowing through the city’s nightlife together. Bringing their experiences back to their communities the two have also created the TurnTableTennis event series – an open-decks night where anyone who wants to can try their hand at the decks.

Jeyrototo plays music that turns you upside down, inside out and round and round. Her sound is full of groove and sunny vibes, but never without a pinch of warm melancholy.

Tonight, the Munich-based DJ will accompany you into the morning lights with some House bangers that leave you with a smile.
