Unguarded joins Sorrow Club to present Salamanda, Lucy Liyou, and ccontrary at Kuppelhalle in silent green, Berlin. With Lucy on grands, Salamanda playing enchanted rhythms and ccontrary on electronic compositions against the crematorium walls, this will be a special gathering for a Wednesday night. It is a great pleasure to have sorrow club seoul roster back in Berlin, joined by Unguarded crew’s visionary presentation.

Salamanda is a Seoul-based Leftfield Ambient music producer/DJ duo of Uman Therma (Sala) and Yetsuby (Manda). The electronic duo who believes every sound has its own beauty, loves to create imagined worlds with their colourful, dreamy and organic palette of sounds. Their albums released on Good Morning Tapes, Small Méasures and Human Pitch have all earned praise from the music media realms.

San Francisco-based artist Lucy Liyou synthesises field recordings, text-to-speech readings, poetry, and elements from Korean folk opera into sonic narratives. Though their music reflects the work of genres such as post-industrial and musique-concrète, Liyou is influenced by audiobooks as well as music from the Impressionist and Neoclassical period. Lucy Liyou will perform as a duo with Nick Zanca, combining piano, vocals, guitar, and electronics.

ccontrary is a Paris-based singer and electronic musician. Her music means to her her own language through which listeners can gain empathy or dive into themselves to find their own reflections on music. She likes to convey depth through her tracks, touching people mentally, something intangible that can reach the depths of the soul, becoming a connecting link between people
