In 2001, La Casa was created as a self-governing (youth) space. Since then, various events have taken place: information, film and pub evenings, concerts and parties, theater and workshops. Groups and initiatives also can meet here and network. La Casa is one of the smaller stages and yet it is an important place for many subcultural scenes to hold inexpensive and uncomplicated events. After countless concerts, festivals (10 years of Rand.gestalten Festival, Potse Drugstore Festival) and recently a few workshop weekends (Flinta* Camp, record campaign days), our technology is getting old. So, we started to renew them.

SUBURBAN BENEFIT is a Soliparty – we’d like to ensure that solidarity events on the outskirts and associated youth work in the neighborhood are also possible in the future. The income will be used for a new sound system for La Casa as a contribution.
