How do you handle music requests?
The music I play is excellent I don’t have any requests :D
Now seriously, there are many options for requests. I always try to explain I have more than 20 year’s experience in the industry and it’s not a private party. Recently the mayor of the city of Warsaw requested a DJ for a Jamiroquai track at a club. It inspired me to make a disco rework of one of the Jamiroquai’s track. It will be available soon to download on my Soundcloud!
What do you do when equipment goes on strike?
Thanks god it has never happened at one of my shows. Beforehand, I try to do sound checks and have 2-3 USB discs with music. BUT if something like this happened, I would definitely respond with a smile and encourage the crowd to clap or something!
What are your musical influences from childhood?
My childhood was a long time ago. I grew up in a communist country without a connection to music television. First non-Polish-language band were Modern Talking, CC Catch, Depeche Mode. Then I started loving 4/4 beat.
Is it even possible to argue about musical tastes?
Of course, you can argue anything you want including music, with respect for our interlocutor.
Which track would run when you moved into your boxing match?
Roland Clark – My Story! Love this one!
What was the worst job you ever had?
I have had a lot of jobs. I worked as a bartender, door selection, sales representative, banker. None of them were good. Now I’m real estate agent. It is something that gives me stability. However, music is my passion.
Describes your sound to someone who has never heard it before.
I think best description is real, energetic and happy.
Do you have any good tour stories from clubs or festivals?
I’ve been a DJ for more than 20 years. I am at an age where many things are forgotten! To be honest I don’t have any good stories. The DJ booth is boring, after parties are always the same – not sleeping, wasting time, I do not recommended this lifestyle!
What would you do if you weren’t a musician?
As I said I’m a real estate broker. Music is my passion and I spend all my free time on it!
Which style of music should have the most followers? And why?
People shouldn’t listen to genres, just tracks… but classical music deserves special treatment, of course house music too!
What is the most important musical equipment invention of all time – and why?
Computer + DAW, people create a lot of great music
