How did you come to do what you do? When did the first idea of creating the label came out?

We got to the point where we wanted to have a platform for ourselves and our friends because we share a musical vision. We sat down and Radikon was the result of our thoughts.

Some statistics, since the label was created , how many releases, how many vinyls and how many packages/parcels have you made/send?

Since we started Radikon in 2018, we’ve release over 100 tracks over 32 catalogue numbers. Recently, we also put out our first ever Vinyl limited to 300 copies.

From which country do most of your buyers come from?

Our community comes from all over the world.

What is the release of which you are most proud of?

I’m proud of them all, but in particular, we put a lot of effort into the remix EP of the Danish duo Diamond Mouth including 4 remixes by Frankey & Sandrino, Ruede Hagelstein, Yubik and Jonas Saalbach.

Who’s in your Team? Are you a Music Producer or DJ?

There is a small core group, and we’ve been working together for a long time; but we’ve also got a growing entourage of friends and likeminded producers.

Have you ever helped yourself with buying clicks & plays on soundcloud?

No, never. That doesn’t make sense to us at all. We want to grow in a natural way. Radikon means ‘roots’ in english, and one of our core values for the label is being down to earth.

Where do you find hungry and ambitious artists?

By listening to a lot of music. If we like something, we check the artist’s background a bit more to see if there is real talent behind it.

How would you describe the style and vision of your Label?

We make dance music, first and foremost. We like our tracks groove-driven and with a cinematic touch. A tiny bit of darkness is also part of our style I would say.

For producers out there sending in their demos via emails, what are some tips you would give them on professionally sending in their track to you?

Make sure your sending us something that actually makes sense, that fits aesthetically with what we’ve been putting out. At the same time, absolutely give it your own touch, uniqueness is key. Demos can be submitted in the demo section on our website. We listen to everything we receive in the mailbox. www.radikon-label.com
