Opening track “Really Love” ft. Will Heard sets the tone beautifully. A deep and soulful house cut driven by a funky, rolling bassline, it’s elevated by Will Heard’s silky-smooth vocal performance… emotive, effortless, and perfectly at home on the Soul Quest imprint. It’s the kind of track that works just as well on a late-night dancefloor as it does in a more intimate setting.
“Green Alot” shifts gears, stepping confidently into broken beat territory. Jazzy keys dance over a syncopated groove, revealing Green’s love for classic bruk influences while keeping things forward-looking and fluid.
With “I’d Rather Be With You”, the EP digs deeper. Grittier with electro break-beat energy with equal measures of soul. Sublime vocal work and lush keys create a rich, emotional atmosphere that lingers long after the track fades.
