“Necessary Love” is an album conceived as a trajectory without interruptions or clear boundaries. Like a thought that shifts as it takes shape, the record moves between electronic pulses and silences charged with tension, transforming Dinkis’ electronics into a cinematic and deeply human language. Each track emerges from the same urgency, giving sound to fragility, the desire for connection, loss, and transformation.
The story opens with a distant wound. “Il Dolore Invisibile” translates suffering into sound, an invisible yet heavy pain that follows those who watch from afar with a constant sense of helplessness. From here, the mind slips into an internal mutation, becoming rigid, sharper, more mechanical. “New Artificial Touch” navigates this silent passage, the moment when human contact is filtered, mediated, and rendered artificial.
In this cold, controlled space, a primary and irreplaceable need emerges: affection. “A Necessary Caress” takes shape as a void that cannot be filled. Intimacy does not guarantee salvation. “Immoral Love Scene” leaves behind tangled sheets and an unsettling emptiness, the residue of a consumed love incapable of nurturing.
A stark emotional shift unfolds in “Ella (Encuéntrame)”, an encounter vibrating with passion and possibility, suspended between presence and desire. From this suspension comes disillusionment. “No Promises” asserts itself as a clear and necessary stance.
Care emerges in “Her Kisses On My Scars”, where wounds are touched without fear, acknowledged, and traversed without the need to hide them. Identity becomes unstable again. “Phantom’s Name” inhabits the territory of those who are constantly changing, existing without ever settling into a fixed form.
A forced pause arrives, a necessary reset. “System Reset Protocol” is a tension-filled suspension, an emotional reset where artificial touch enters forcefully, reshaping the way love is experienced. Here, Gabriele’s most intimate and reflective side emerges with clarity, transforming electronics into emotional substance. Yet, despite everything, the need for safety remains. “In Your Arms” becomes refuge and protection, the warmth of an embrace.
The sea takes the shape of memory in “Oltre Mare”, surfacing intertwined hands, bodies, and gazes that survive only in recollection. A melancholy that advances and recedes, like a wave that never stops returning. The end of this story is entrusted to “Mia Luna”, a pure and fragile desire, an imagined figure embodying the future, the idea of an absolute love that does not yet exist but already gives meaning to everything.
“Necessary Love” is a single, unified body, where electronics become skin, breath, wound, and caress. Music that does not define, but makes you feel, leaving the listener immersed in something intimate, inevitable, and profoundly human.
