Aufgrund der sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Unruhen in angrenzenden Teilen Europas, ist Deutschland zu einem wichtigen Zufluchtsort von Flüchtlingen geworden. Wir wollen sie bei ihrem Start in einem neuen Lebensumfeld unterstützen- M&C Saatchi Berlin veranstaltet den ersten Berliner Street Store. The Street Store is the world’s first rent-free, premises-free, free “pop-up clothing store” for the less fortunate. It aims to rekindle a sense of pride and opportunity for those who don’t have many options in their lives, encouraging them to choose 2nd hand clothes that they’d like to wear, in a dignified setting. The Berlin event isn’t just focussed on helping the homeless but also refugees who are trying to establishing a new life in Europe.
Cassiopeia in Revaler Str. 99 will be transformed into a shop display of donated clothing, with volunteers assisting in the selection of clothing.
Your role is simply to bring the clothes and shoes that you don’t wear any more.
