Born in the Tel-Aviv Trance and Acid scene, those were also the sounds influencing teenager Marion Cobretti’s first steps in musical production. It wasn’t until many years later that his relocation to Berlin fine-tuned his real musical destiny: Techno.
However, his roots in colorful synths and high-energy drives could not digest minimal techno in its pure Berlin form. Instead, he developed his own unique style, stretching the genre all over the world, drawing color and energy from south European big floor weapons, pouring those into industrial, dark, percussion-loaded Berlin minimalism, injecting some fine Detroit groove and covering with atmospheric Scandinavian pads. The result is dj-sets that turn into epic musical journeys, and productions that re-define the borders of the genre. Techno w/ Color is a night w/ Color.
