The new release „Tip Jar“ by Austrian-based Icelander Addi Stefansson and Wiesbaden based DJ/producer Electroblaze found its origins in a jam session after the last Lockdown.
Electroblaze had his field recorder in the right place at the right time and recorded the vocal of „Janet Taylor“ when she asked the audience during a short break to throw a little tip in the Jar of the musicians who had been beaten by Corona. Hence the title Tip Jar.
The idea of the house track was to create the atmosphere of a jam session. The vocal is carried by deep piano sounds and a groovy bassline.
